The IQAC & The Library Committee, The Bhawanipur Education Society College & Behala College jointly organized a one day seminar on “Knowledge Resource Management: E- learning and Information Search” on 29th June 2019 in our college. Eminent speakers included Dr. K S Ragavan (Retd. Professor ISI, Bangaluru), Dr. Paratha Sarathi Mukhopadhay (University of Kalyani), Dr. Tapan Kumar Mondal (Dy. Librarian ISI, Kolkata) and Mr. Subhadeep Sengupta (Manager Operations, British Council Library). In this seminar the speakers highlighted the scope and means of e-resource search and discussed about different open source search options which will reduce user’s time to find their resources online. It was well attended by academia, research scholars & students from both the colleges. A large number of faculty members(69), of both the colleges received of participation certificates at the end of the seminar.
