Services & Facilites
The Knowledge Resource Centre is engaged in developing reading interest among the students and teachers of The Bhawanipur Education Society College. The reading room is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. The students come here for regular, course-related study as well as to prepare themselves for competitive examinations. Reading is a pleasure and with surroundings so serene and serious, it is easy to concentrate. This section is much appreciated by those who use it.
Circulation Services
Students, faculty, non-teaching staff and members of management of the organisation can borrow reading materials from the library. Students, faculty, non-teaching staff become members of the library on joining the organisation and can avail the facilities and services provided by the library. The rules are framed to facilitate and promote, rather than to constrain, the use of the library collection and services.

Selective Dissemination of Information Services
In the Knowledge Resource Centre, computerised assistance service is provided to faculty members and students by the library professionals. Current information about the resources is disseminated to the users.
Some of the other dissemination of information (SDI) services provided by the library are:
- Resources are provided to the right users at the right time, as per their interest.
- Information is disseminated related to the institution on the noticeboard.
- Reports on annual issue, return, reissue and footfall are displayed on the noticeboard to encourage users.
Reprography Services
The Library provides reprography service to users as per their demands free of cost.
In-House Faculty available for Guidance
The Knowledge Resource Centre offers students interactive sessions with faculty members. This initiative taken by the library allows students to clarify doubts about what is taught. Students have appreciated this effort. The number of such sessions has been increased based on positive feedback from the students.
Information Kiosk
There is an information kiosk in the library through which users can access information related to the library resources. The desired information can be accessed easily using this user-friendly device.
The kiosk features are:
- A guide on how to find books
- Library OPAC (ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOGUE)
- Online book reservation
- Purchase suggestions
